Beagle Boxer
A Beagle Boxer is also called a
Bogle. This is not an AKC recognized breed,
but just a mix. Anytime you mix two purebred dogs together, the
outcome produces random results, which means no two puppies in
the litter will be the same.
The size of the Beagle Boxer can range anywhere from 25
pounds to up to 75 pounds depending on age and body condition.
Like most other breeds of dogs, they to are prone to obesity if
overfed.
Since both the Boxer and Beagle tend to be hard to train,
most of their offspring also tend to be hard to train, although
it have even some experience training dogs this should not be a
problem.
Colors can range tremendously from the mostly fawn and
brindle of the Boxer to the tri-color or blue tick of the
Beagle. The colors of the parents depends on what possible
colors the offspring might be.
The Beagle Boxer is great around children and often requires
a lot of attention to avoid behavior problems like digging or
chewing.
Since both of these dogs tend to shed the mix also sheds
too. The grooming required is the same for any short haired
dog, basic weekly brushing and the occasional bath.
Most people do not breed this mix for sale. Most of the dogs
you do find are the result of a random breeding of stray dogs,
so if you do want a Beagle Boxer mix, you will
need to do a lot of looking.
This dogs can be very loving and affectionate, so I don’t
think you can go wrong with a Bogle.
